因为这是ES版,Ian预测正式版Threadripper只会有2颗晶片(这里原文用词欠妥)
最终如何还是得看零售版本
从成本角度考虑:
TR与EPYC都为4xMCM更合理一些。
而且单颗Zeppelin die成本很低。

If AMD had populated a Threadripper CPU with just two of the dies, the metal heat spreader would likely bend where the empty spots are.
